Today we had catechesis in the crypt under the Basilica de Jesus de Medinacel. Bishop van Eijk talked about trust.

During the break I went to Starbucks had coffee and a sandwich. After the break there was a Eucharist in the crypt.

In the afternoon I went to the vocations market and worship with the pastor. At worship there was a line, but at first we didn't know what it was for. Then we walked past the line and ended up at the entrance. Then a Spanish volunteer said "Padre," and she gestured for us to come in.

At the end, we went to the cathedral. The Santa María la Real de La Almudena had only been consecrated by JP2 in 1993. It's a very modern cathedral, which I didn't find much to like.
