Daily to a pop temple
It struck me today that I keep going to an 804-year-old pop temple. It is still, relatively, popular, even among young people. Inside the pop temple, also called a church, there is a raised stage where the “show” is performed. There is with some frequency a hefty smoke machine, better known as incense. The colored lights are made by God as the “rising sun” shines through the windows. And also, the follow spotlight is focused on the altar and ambo. The musicians are called organist and cantor. The “lyrics” are not just romantic songs but the Word of God. And all in a beautiful 804-year-old Munster church. So it's a treat to go to church.
